About Masamune The first TATARA shaving product to be produced. It has been
fashioned with the look of a classic safety razor but with unique lines of the future and, due to a
minimalist design is able to transmit our view supported by purity, elegance, and simplicity.

The Masamune Nodachi Razor is an update from our first razor. Like the original
Nodachi katanas, it is longer and the blade feeling is amplified. All in favour of a closer and sharper shaving experience.

All TATARA products are 100% produced in Portugal, is CNC machined in AISI 303 high grade
stainless steel, hand finished and sandblasted, in order to give the beautiful final effect to a high-quality product.

The photo above is here to explain that both parts of both razors in this series can be exchanged. This will allow our customers to create hybrid solutions customized for each skin and beard.

A beautiful aggressive razor that provides a close, comfortable shave with minimal effort. I prefer the standard Masamune handle to the Nodachi handle because I like my razors under 100g. If you like a little more weight, then the Nodachi handle is perfect. it doesn’t appear that either of the handles would provide much grip, but looks are deceiving. I’ve had no trouble with my grip slipping on either handle.

The finish on the razor is simple and attractive. The shave provided by the Nodachi is top-notch as well. I can easily limit my routine to 2 passes and still reach baby-smooth status. An easy recommendation for anyone looking for quality machined razor.
